The adoption of a Proposal for a Regulation is foreseen for the second quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inception impact assessment and the feed-back received is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/12878-Cross-border-family-situations-recognition-of-parenthood_en\">https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/12878-Cross-border-family-situations-recognition-of-parenthood_en<\/a> . The public consultation is open until 25 August 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Experts Group is advising on the preparation of this legislative initiative. One of the twelve individual experts appointed is Prof. Cristina Gonz\u00e1lez Beilfuss, who is a member of the GEDIP.
